Drying off after playing in the water (Ethan did not want his face on camera...ha).It has been well over 100 degrees for the past week. So, the Parker's and Bill Young came over for some pizza and the kids played out in the yard. Kara & Travis brought over their water slide & water rocket and the kids had a blast.
We've had a busy week getting ready to go on the cruise. Blake, Steve and I are going on a Caribbean cruise with Travis and Kara. Tropical Storm Dean is heading towards our cruise route so we are keeping an eye on that (and keeping our fingers crossed he will disappear... fat chance, I'm sure). Abby and Jacob are going to Meemaw and Grandpa's. They are so looking forward to that trip. Abby wants to go on the next cruise with us. Maybe Disney? We will see.
Blake, Abby and Jacob start school 27 August. Blake is not looking forward to it. Abby will be in an all day pre-K program and Jacob will be in a half day program. They're very excited and can't wait to sport their new backpacks.
