Cruisin'
We had a great time on our cruise. We went to the Bahamas, St Thomas (with a side trip to St John) and St Maarten. Abby and Jacob LOVED Camp Carnival (where they focus on kids). Everyday Jacob would wake up and say "What are we doing at Camp Carnival today?" Blake and Dylan took advantage of everything the ship had to offer. They went to all of the shows, the trivia contests, deck parties, backstage tours, etc. They had their own room and loved having the freedom to come and go. I was able to finish an entire book (yippee) and Steve had fun at the casino. It really was the perfect vacation! The islands were awesome. We took a 45 minute boat ride from St. Thomas to St. John and went to Trunk beach. The sand was SO white and the water was absolutely beautiful! The kids ran right in like it was pool water. We thought the Bahamas were ok, but we fell in love with the Virgin Islands. Of course, we are already thinking about when we can take our next cruise. Here are a few pictures.

Catching up...
I can't believe how far behind I am on my posts!!!! June flew by and before we knew it July was upon us and things began to get busy. Blake returned from his mom's and Dylan came to see us for a visit. Dylan had a great adventure this summer going to the Grand Canyon on a class trip. The pictures are awesome and it reminded me how much I LOVE the Grand Canyon. When Abby and Jacob are older I would love to take them there. Meemaw, Grandpa and Uncle Dustin came for a visit and we had a great time, although their visit is always too short. Here are a few pictures of what's been going on...

Abby Loses Another Tooth

Well, Abby lost her top tooth last week. She kept working it loose and we were just standing in the living room and heard it drop on the floor. She was very excited especially for the Tooth fairy's visit. The next morning she made Steve look up what the Tooth fairy looks like on the computer. She told him that was not what she looked like because she saw her in her room. Apparently, the Tooth fairy woke Abby up when she "swooshed" by her.

Orlando
Abby, Jacob, Blake and I went down to Orlando to see Steve at the end of his TDY. We had a great time. We played putt-putt, went to the Imaginarium and then spent a day at Sea World. It has been SO rainy lately, we got very lucky that we managed the whole day at Sea World without rain.

Jacob's Graduation
Sorry it has taken me so long to post these pictures. Jacob had his pre-K graduation on the same day as Abby's Field Day. All of the kids wore red, white, and blue and their graduation had a patriotic theme, which of course I loved. The kids each said facts about the United States. Jacob's line was "We pledge allegiance to the flag because we promise to be good Americans." He was very shy and it took him a minute to get going. Once he said his lines everyone in the audience started clapping. It was very cute.

Abby's Field Day
Today was Abby's field day! I took the day off of work and Grandma and I went up to Abby's school. Abby did a great job in all of the events... some of her favorites were the water relay, pitch & fetch, and the sack race (which Abby calls the baked potato race because you look like a baked potato w/ the bag on). The only bad thing is that it was freezing and very windy today. All of the parents were wrapped up in blankets and sweatshirts. The kids were pretty pumped up and did not seem near as cold as the adults. After Field Day, Grandma, Abby and I headed to lunch at Applebees. Then, Abby and I went to Books-A-Million to buy Jacob a pre-K graduation gift (he graduates tonight). We've had a great day!

Snow Day
Saturday, it was 70 degrees and we woke up Sunday to SNOW! The kids were so excited. We let them out to play in it while it was still kind of a rainy snow. Blake took Abby and Jacob for a walk and by the time they returned there were big, beautiful flakes! I guess snow is very rare for this part of Georgia. The poor kids thought it was going to snow like it did in NH! Oh well, they had a great time!
